2 DAYS TOUBKAL TREK FROM MARRAKECH:

Climb Mount Toubkal on a two-day hiking expedition from Marrakech and explore the High Atlas Mountains’ landscape.

What You Can Expect in 2 days Toubkal trekking from Marrakech:

Day 1: from Marrakech to Tahnouet- Asni- Imlil 1740m and Refuge Toubkal 3207m (Marrakech to Imlil 65km 1h30mn drive)

We start Toubkal 2 day trek with departing Marrakech around 8.30 am towards Imlil village. You will enjoy a scenic ride south towards the craggy peaks. Experience amazing view f valleys overlooking the Toubkal Massif. We pass the village of Aremd which is the highest in the Imlil Valley and then onto the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch.

We stop for a lunch and then you will explore the local cascading waterfall.

We continue the Atlas mountain trek, you enjoy snaking and zigzagging up to the Toukbal Refuge. Here we stop for the overnight accommodation and dinner. (Total time around 4-5 hours of walking in Atlas)

Day 2: from Refuge at 3207m to Summit Toubkal – Refuge Toubkal and to Imlil 1740m then back to Marrakech

Today after an early breakfast we hike to the top of the highest peak in North Africa - Toubkal. The summit has an incomparable view of the High Atlas Mountains, the Sahara desert. After enjoying the scenery we start descend to the refuge for a lunch.

This trekking Moorcco excursion in Atlas day involves about 8 hours walking and we finish back in Imlil. Then we transfer you to Marrakech.
